66 Children Set to Visit the Mariner of the Seas!

Through the kind efforts of my friend and his colleagues aboard Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas, 66 children from the Hongik Child Welfare Center orphanage on Jeju Island, South Korea will get to enjoy an incredible experience on Sunday.

After boarding, they will tour the ship, enjoy a meal, meet a DreamWorks character, watch a volcano science experiment in Adventure Ocean, and possibly also enjoy some of Royal Caribbean’s top-notch entertainment.

I’d like to take a minute to publicly thank my friend, Pierre, his coworkers, who so generously offered their time and talents to make this experience possible for the kids, especially Lina & Micha who went with us on our visit, the administrative team on the Mariner, and my former employer, Royal Caribbean, for giving back to a community they visit and offering an amazing day for these children who have so little.

My vision is to build partnerships like this between individuals or corporations and nearby orphanages that I’ve visited. If you or your organization would like to be involved in touching the lives of orphaned children in a similar manner, let’s talk!
